3 Modes of Monopolar Cutting
Pure Cut: Provides clean and precise cutting of tissue.
Blend 1: Used when a slightly slower cutting speed and minimal hemostasis are required (70% cutting, 30% coagulation).
Blend 2: Used when a slower cutting speed and enhanced hemostasis are needed (50% cutting, 50% coagulation).
2 Modes of Monopolar Coagulation
Spray Coagulation: Non-contact, efficient surface coagulation with shallow penetration. Tissue is removed through evaporation, typically using a knife or ball electrode for coagulation. Minimal tissue damage depth.
Forced Coagulation: Non-contact coagulation with a lower peak output voltage than spray coagulation. Suitable for small-area coagulation. Provides moderate thermal penetration with rapid and effective standard coagulation, resulting in minimal carbonization.
Vessel Sealing
Capable of sealing blood vessels with a diameter of up to 7mm.
Simplifies the process by sealing vessels within tissue without excessive dissection.
Allows for the closure of vessels and tissue bundles without the need for detailed dissection or separation, ensuring ease of operation.
